MOBILE, ALA. - Lightning and rain interrupted the South Alabama Jaguar Classic Friday about midway through the meet.GSU had competed in four field events and four running events at that point on the wet and soggy day.
Georgia State had three first-place finishes in those eight events, three second-place showings and three third-place efforts.
Stephanie Berger won the 1,500m run with a time of 4:38.90, with teammates Nuria Ramirez in third and Lindsay Shealey in fourth.
Danielle Livingstone and Katherine Randolph had a 1-2 finish in the long jump with Livingstone's 5.
