ATLANTA – Georgia State volleyball head coach Sally Polhamus announced the hiring of Ashley Beyer as an assistant coach on Friday. Beyer joins the Panthers after spending the 2016 season as an assistant coach at Hartford.
In her previous role, she worked with the outside hitters, oversaw video exchange and analysis, assisted in recruiting and engineered the Hawks social media efforts.
Beyer brought a wealth of playing experience on both the professional and collegiate levels to the Hawks program. She played in the professional ranks from 2012-15, playing in leagues in Sweden and Switzerland, while also competing for Premier Volleyball League teams from Wisconsin, Illinois and Ohio during that span.
