ATLANTA-The two-time defending Sun Belt Conference champion Georgia State men's basketball team will open league play on Thursday night hosting UT Arlington at 7 p.m. in the GSU Sports Arena.
Georgia State (6-3, 0-0 Sun Belt) has won five-straight games and nine-straight at home dating back to last season. UT Arlington (4-7, 0-0 Sun Belt) has lost three-straight and will be looking to avenge losses to GSU in each of the last two conference tournament title games in New Orleans.
Thursday's contest can be heard live on WRAS-FM 88.5 with Dave Cohen, now in his 37th year as the Voice of the Panthers, being joined by former Panther Lamont McIntosh calling the action.
