ATLANTA – Georgia State softball and women’s cross country were acknowledged among the top 10 percent of the teams in the country for their multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR) announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
It marks the second-straight year that both programs have been acknowledged among the top 10 percent. Each program scored a 1,000, marking the second consecutive data collection period the score was perfect.
This is the second time softball has been honored, while the third time women’s cross country has been recognized. Six different Georgia State programs have been recognized since the awards started to be announced.
