ATLANTA – Hannes Burmeister, Kyle Clinton and Max Hemmings of Georgia State men’s soccer all picked up 2018 Preseason All-Sun Belt honors, with Burmeister tabbed as the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. The Panthers also were selected to finish the regular season in second place, the league announced on Tuesday.
Burmeister, a senior from Bentwisch, Germany, earned All-Sun Belt First Team and All-Sun Belt Tournament Team honors in 2017. He ranked second in the conference in game-winning goals with four, and fourth in both total goals with eight and total points with 18.
