PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic - Senior Becky Tresham of the Georgia State beach volleyball team qualified for the 2021 Junior Pan American Games after earning third place, with partner Kaylee Glagau, at the NORCECA U23 Beach Volleyball Qualifier this weekend in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The duo went 2-2 in pool play before earning a 2-0 victory over Paola Alvarado and Laura Quiñones of Guatemala in the quarterfinals. With the victory, the pair officially clinched their spot in the 2021 Junior Pan American Games.
The duo's run was staggered in the semifinals as they dropped a 0-2 decision to the eventual winners, Allanis Navas and María González of Puerto Rico.
