ATLANTA – Georgia State signee Kylee Love was named a FloSoftball First-Team All-American this week and Kirsten McMonigle and Baylee Sexton were each selected to the Second Team. All three student-athletes will join GSU’s softball program this fall.
Love comes from Walnut Grove High School in where her team competed three times in the Georgia High School Association Elite 8 including a State Runner-Up in 2015. She was a four-year starter and finished her career with a .454 batting average on teams that won a combined 107 games. Her power numbers include 40 career HRs and 171 RBIs and during her senior year she broke the Georgia state record for single-season RBIs with 69.
