* This weekend, the Georgia State women’s tennis team will send student-athletes to the Under Armour Invite at Baylor University and the Gridiron Classic at Mercer University.
* Both tournament draws will begin Friday afternoon. The Panthers have Damira Muminovic, Kristin Rehse, Tarani Kamoe and Daniela Ramirez competing in Waco, Texas and Anastasia Grosheva, Lara Vovk and Ilona Golynker playing in Macon, Ga. Matches begin at noon (CT) tomorrow.
* Head coach Jason Marshall and the team hope to advance far in the tournament draws and maximize the number of matches to build on their in-game experience this fall.
