ATLANTA- Georgia State men’s soccer head coach Brett Surrency announced the hiring of Ricky Davey as the program’s new assistant coach Tuesday afternoon. Davey comes to Georgia State following a one-year stint at Francis Marion.
"I’m excited about the addition of Ricky to our program and I know he will do a wonderful job,” Surrency said. “We had an extensive search and some great candidates but Ricky continued to stand out during the process. I know his ambition and hunger will go a long way in the program’s continued success and I’m anxious for players to have the opportunity to get started with him this spring.
