I appreciate the opportunity to share my October State of the Panthers update. As you can guess, it’s a busy and exciting time of year for Georgia State Athletics.
The decision by the American Athletic Conference and Memphis to cancel our September 30 home football game was certainly a very disappointing and frustrating occurrence, especially as we build our program and excitement of home games at Georgia State Stadium. No one is more excited about Homecoming 2017 than our athletics department staff. We are diligently working to secure a 12th game. Ticket buyers for the Memphis game should have information on ticket exchanges or other options from the game.
