ATLANTA - Severin Soller of the GSU golf team is this week's Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week, powered by the U.S. Marines.
Soller led the Panthers to a second place finish at the GSU-hosted Autotrader Collegiate Classic last week while finishing in a tie for fourth place. Soller, who came to Georgia State following two seasons at Mississippi State, shot rounds of 73-71-71 to finish at 1-under par.
His solid play helped lead the Panthers to wins over the likes of Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Kansas, Augusta, Lipscomb and Boston College.
In two tournaments this fall, Soller has earned first and fourth place finishes.
