TROY, Ala. - Third-seeded Georgia State (34-22) was eliminated from the Sun Belt Conference Championships Thursday evening after losses to No. 2 seed Texas State and No. 5 seed UT Arlington.

Georgia State rallied to tie Texas State late in the game, but the Bobcats ultimately won with a three-run homer in the sixth.
Texas State put two runs on the board in the second inning, but Kinsley Jennings settled in nicely and held the Bobcats scoreless through the next three frames.
Georgia State clawed back, beginning with a solo home run by Remington Hasty in the fourth inning, her seventh of the season.
