MOBILE, Ala. – Georgia State’s softball team split a doubleheader with South Alabama in Mobile Saturday afternoon. Megan Litumbe homered twice, and Ivie Drake also homered as GSU moved to 15-14 (2-5 SBC) on the year.
Game 1: GSU 6, USA 5
South Alabama struck first with two runs on two hits and an error in the bottom of the first.
Down 2-0, Megan Litumbe launched her 58th career home run in the top of the second to cut South Alabama’s lead in half.
Ivie Drake gave the Panthers a 3-2 advantage with a two-run jack in the top of the fourth.
