MONROE, La. – Georgia State’s softball team swept Saturday’s doubleheader against ULM, winning 5-4 in Game 1 and 6-3 in Game 2.
Game 1: GSU 5, ULM 4
Georgia State rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the fifth inning to take Game 1 from the Warhawks. The Panthers scored two runs in both the fifth and sixth innings before scoring the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh.
Mallory Parson threw 3.2 scoreless frames to earn her first win at GSU. Parson allowed just three hits and held ULM off the board as GSU mounted its comeback.
