Sisk Named Head Football Strength Coach

ATLANTA -- John Sisk, who possesses nearly three decades of experience in the field of strength and conditioning, highlighted by 17 years with Power Five programs, has been named the head strength coach for Georgia State football. Sisk comes to Georgia State after seven years at Georgia Tech and previously worked 10 seasons at Vanderbilt.

“John Sisk is a tremendous leader with an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience in the strength and conditioning field,” head coach Shawn Elliott said. “And he has local ties to Atlanta. We’re thrilled to have him join our program.”

Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb added, “Player development is crucial to our program, and to be able to bring someone of John Sisk’s experience and talent is a tremendous benefit for our student-athletes.
