Sirignano Named Head Strength Coach

ATLANTA -- Mike Sirignano is the new head strength and conditioning coach for Georgia State football, joining the GSU program after three years at Louisville.

Before going to Louisville in December, Sirignano spent four years (2014-18) at Appalachian State, where he started as the director of strength and conditioning in 2014 and was later promoted to assistant athletic director for athletic performance.

Sirignano previously worked on the strength and conditioning staffs at South Carolina (2012-14), Elon (2012), Rhode Island (2010-12), Northeastern (2009-10) and Bryant (2009).

"Mike is a very important addition to our program," head coach Shawn Elliott said.
