ATLANTA – Georgia State men’s tennis junior Bailey Showers was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Men’s At-Large Second Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Friday afternoon.
Showers’ selection to the second team makes him the 30th Georgia State student athlete to earn Academic All-American status in program history and just the third GSU men’s tennis player to receive the honor.
The junior from Atlanta recorded a 4.02 grade point average for the spring semester, the highest GPA among all other members of the Academic All-America® Men’s At-Large Second Team.
