Short-Handed Panthers Off For 2 Games in Arkansas

SHORT-HANDED PANTHERS TRAVEL TO FIRST-PLACE ARKANSAS STATE

Georgia State (8-9, 3-5) will make the five-day trip to Arkansas and start with league-leading Arkansas State on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT).

Arkansas State is No. 10/13 in Mid-Major polls by ESPN and CollegeInsider.com and unbeaten in the Sun Belt this year. The Red Wolves have won 18 straight at home in Jonesboro for the seventh-longest streak in the NCAA. Their NCAA.com RPI is 55.

GSU is pretty much in “survival mode” in mid-season, waiting to get the roster closer to full strength for a February-March push as the Panthers play through the pain.
