Ryerson Hits 2 of GSU's 5 Homers, Watson Earns 16th Career Win

ATLANTA -- Max Ryerson hit two of Georgia State's five home runs, and Ryan Watson earned his 16th career victory as the Panthers opened their Sun Belt Conference series against Arkansas State with an 18-13 win Friday at the GSU Baseball Complex.

Watson, the senior right-hander from Sugar Hill, Ga., and North Gwinnett High School, became Georgia State's career leader in combined wins (16) and saves (12) with 28. His 16 victories are tied for fourth in GSU history.

Ryerson had a pair of 2-run homers, Luke Boynton hit a grand slam, Caleb Stewart hit a 3-run homer and Cameron Jones added a solo shot as Georgia State improved its season total to 69 home runs, ranking in the top five in the nation.
