ATLANTA -- A week after being honored for his play on the field, Georgia State tight end Keith Rucker was recognized for his work off the field as a nominee for the 2016 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® and a member of the Preseason Watch List for the Wuerffel Trophy.
Last week, Rucker was tabbed to the Preseason Watch List for the John Mackey Award, presented to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, which was established in 1992 by the Allstate Insurance Company and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) to recognize a select group of college football players who have made a commitment to service and enriching the lives of others.
