ATLANTA- Head men's tennis coach Brett Ross earned the Wilson/ITA Southeast Region Coach of the Year award, the ITA announced Monday.
Ross led the Panthers to an impressive 19-7 season, as well as a Sun Belt Conference title and NCAA automatic bid. Georgia State recorded a No. 30 ITA ranking in February, the highest ranking in program history.
The team recorded a win over then-No. 27 Florida State, the second biggest win in program history. The Panthers also tied the second-longest win-streak in program history with 11 straight heading into NCAA Regional play.
Earlier this year, Ross earned Coach of the Year honors from the Sun Belt Conference for the second year in-a-row.
