BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Georgia State’s indoor track and field team competed in the Samford Open Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
Ashlan Rosier set a new Georgia State record in the indoor long jump with a distance of 5.80m. The previous mark was 5.76m by Katherine Randolph.
Several Panthers recorded top-five finishes on the weekend in what was the third meet of the indoor season for GSU following last weekend’s UAB Vulcan and Blazer Invites.
