ATLANTA -- Steve Rosen has been named an assistant coach for the Georgia State baseball team after spending last year as the program's graduate assistant, head coach Greg Frady announced Monday.
A former collegiate catcher, Rosen will work with the Panthers' catchers while coaching first base and assisting with hitting instruction.
"I am excited to elevate Steve Rosen to a coaching position with Georgia State baseball," Frady said. "He is a promising young coach who brings unique experience to our organization, and he earned this opportunity with the hard work and baseball knowledge that he showed last year.
