DADE CITY, Fla. – Senior Petra Duran fired an opening round 67, among the lowest in program history, to lead the Georgia State women's golf team following the first day of the Spring Break Shootout at the Lake Jovita Golf Club.
Duran's 4-under par performance tied for the third-lowest round in program history and the lowest since Harmanprit Kaur shot 67 at the 2018 USA Intercollegiate. The 67 was also the second lowest first round score in program history. After two rounds, Duran is tied for 21st at 5-over par as only six golfers in the 86-player field finished the 36 holes under par.
