ATLANTA – For the second-straight year, bragging rights will stay in Atlanta as Georgia State earned a 30-24 win over Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon at the Georgia Dome. It marked the Panthers’ final home game of the season and last in the Georgia Dome which will be torn down.
Conner Manning went 21-of-39 passing for 318 yards and Glenn Smith scored touchdowns rushing and receiving as Georgia State improved to 3-8 and 2-5 in Sun Belt action.
Smith finished with seven catches for 65 yards and five rushes for a team-best 37 yards.
