ATLANTA- The Georgia State men’s soccer team was only able to play half of its match against Coastal Carolina Saturday, as play was suspended due to weather and field conditions.
At the half, the Chanticleers led the Panthers 2-1.
Both offenses were stagnated in the rain, but Coastal Carolina was able to go up 1-0 at the 32-minute mark. Senior Jad Elkhalil was able to quickly tie the match, scoring his first of the season off an assist from Rashid Alarape.
Coastal Carolina went up again with five minutes remaining in the first, scoring off a rebound of a save from Yannic Horn.
