ATLANTA-Facing an opponent it has seen more than any other in program history, Georgia State will renew its rivalry with Mercer on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the GSU Sports Arena.
The two programs which were conference foes will be meeting for the 82nd time on Tuesday. Although Mercer leads the all-time series 45-36, the Panthers have won 16 of the last 19 meetings dating back to 1996.
Georgia State (1-1) is coming off a hard-fought loss at Montana on Friday night, while Mercer improved to 1-1 with a win over Piedmont College.
Tuesday’s contest can be heard live on WAOK-AM 1380 and WRAS-FM 88.
