ATLANTA -- After playing their way in with a victory at rival Georgia Southern on the final day of the regular season, the Georgia State baseball team will open the Sun Belt Conference Championship vs. Little Rock on Tuesday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park on the campus of Louisiana.
The Panthers (26-28, 10-19 Sun Belt) are the tournament's 10th seed and will face the seventh-seeded Trojans (27-26, 15-14) in a single-elimination game Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The winner advances into the eight-team double elimination bracket, which begins Wednesday.
The Sun Belt champion will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
