ATLANTA, GA-- After defeating Georgia Southern on the road 10 days ago, Georgia State women's basketball hosts the rivalry rematch against Georgia Southern on Jan. 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the GSU Convocation Center. The Panthers have won three of the last four, and four of the last six contests played.
> Freshman Crystal Henderson posted a team-high 20 points to lead Georgia State to a 74-66 road win against in-state rival Georgia Southern (Jan. 24). Mya Williams hit a dagger 3-pointer with 1:52 left in the game to put Georgia State up 68-61, which ultimately put the Panthers in the position to take game eight of conference play.
