MOBILE, AL-- Georgia State continues conference play on the road against South Alabama on Jan. 20 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
> GSU rallied late in the fourth quarter to take down App State 73-68 in game five of Sun Belt conference play. Alyssa Phillip banked a season-first 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter, and Mikyla Tolivert netted the final five points of the game to clinch the win over the Mountaineers.
> The Panthers defeated Texas State 64-55 in game three of conference play. Tolivert led GSU with 18 points, two blocks and two steals, while Crystal Henderson followed with nine points, seven rebounds and five assists.
