ATLANTA – Following nearly two months of summer basketball instruction, Georgia State will travel to the Dominican Republic on Sunday for an eight-day international tour that will include three shoe distributions with Samaritan’s Feet.
It will be the third trip of this nature in the last five summers for the program and the second time in which the team will not play games. In August 2012 the Panthers travelled to South Africa for shoe distributions with Samaritan’s Feet but did not see any on-court action. In August 2014, Georgia State traveled to Costa Rica, playing four games and doing a pair of shoe distributions.
