AUBURN, Ala. – Georgia State’s softball team started the Tiger Invitational 2-0 with wins over Delaware and Saint Francis Friday at the Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn.
Game 1: GSU 2, Delaware 1
Emily Soles was superb in the circle in the first game of the weekend. Soles went all seven innings and recorded nine strikeouts while giving up just one run on four hits. It was the first win on the year for the sophomore.
On offense, freshman Skylar Mosel continued her impressive start to her collegiate career, hitting her first collegiate home run to lead off the top of the third.
