CHARLOTTE- The Panthers participated in the 49er Invite in Charlotte, N.C., this weekend. The Panthers faced Charlotte, Wofford, and Coastal Carolina in the round-robin event.
During Friday’s contest against host school Charlotte, Muminoviu0107, a 2019 All-Sun Belt Second Team player, and freshman Mara Pop picked up wins for the Panthers. In doubles Muminoviu0107 would pair up with Alexia Alvarez to win Georgia State’s first doubles match of the weekend, 6-3.
