Panthers Fall to South Alabama to Begin Sun Belt Shootout

* Georgia State had its three-match win streak snapped Friday in Mobile, Ala. The Panthers fell to the South Alabama Jaguars 5-2 after winning the doubles point.

* The Panthers (10-8, 2-3) took the doubles point with Arina Taluyenko and Tarani Kamoe overpowering South Alabama’s Monica Mitta and Alexandria Stiteler 6-2 to clinch the point. Damira Muminoviu0107 improved her singles record to 9-6 with a 6-4, 6-0 victory in the No. 5 flight.
