MONROE, LA. -- Georgia State fell 9-4 in Sunday's series finale at ULM as the Warhawks swept the three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Warhawk Field.
After falling behind 5-2, Georgia State (22-25, 7-16 SBC) scored two in the seventh inning to pull within 5-4, but ULM (22-25, 10-14 SBC) managed four runs on just one hit in the eighth inning to pull away.
Senior shortstop Justin Jones was 2-for-3 while driving in the 100th run of his career. That RBI represents another milestone for the veteran infielder, who is now one just 12 players in school history with 200 career hits, 100 RBI and 100 runs scored.
