NORFOLK, Va. -- Georgia State fell 27-10 to Old Dominion on the road Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Derrick Avery Jr. snagged the solo touchdown for the Panthers to mark his career-first touchdown reception.

Jordon Simmons totaled 88 yards to lead the Panthers' ground attack in the game, picking up 5.2 yards per carry along the way. Djay Braswell also tacked on 46 yards on the ground, picking up 4.2 yards per carry.
