Panthers Fall at Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, PA. – Georgia State (0-2) fell at No. 5 Penn State 56-0 Saturday night at Beaver Stadium.

Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley passed for 309 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Saquon Barkley rushed for just 47 yards on 10 carries, but caught four passes for 142 yards, including an 85-yard catch-and-run touchdown.

Taz Bateman rushed for a career-high 100 yards on 29 carries, becoming the first Panther to rush for 100 or more yards since 2014.

He also caught three passes for 19 yards and totaled 119 all-purpose yards.

Penny Hart caught seven passes for 56 yards as eight Georgia State receivers caught at least one pass.
