BOONE, N.C. - Despite holding Appalachian State scoreless in the first half, Georgia State fell to the Mountaineers 17-3 on Saturday afternoon at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Senior Robert Davis finished with five catches for 56 yards to become the Panthers all-time leader in career receptions, surpassing Albert Wilson who currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
After 38 days away from home, Georgia State will return to the Georgia Dome to face Texas State next Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
