TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Georgia State gave No. 25 Florida State a tough time Saturday in Tallahassee, but the Seminoles pulled away with a big fourth quarter to win 79-43.
Georgia State trailed by just two at halftime and led Florida State with seven minutes left in the third quarter. FSU then heated up in the final period, outscoring the Panthers 32-5 to pull away.
Jada Lewis led the Panthers with 15 points. She has now scored double figures in 10 of 11 contests this season.
Allison Johnson tallied 13 points on 6-for-10 shooting with five rebounds and Walnatia Wright led GSU in rebounding with seven boards to go with eight points.
