Panthers Dominate at ETSU Meet with Five Firsts

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Georgia State finished the second day of the seven-team David E. Walker Invitational at ETSU with three more first-place finishes and two more second-place efforts.

For the two days of competition, GSU had 20 top-five finishes, broken down by five first-place finishes, three seconds, five thirds, four fourths and three fifth-place efforts.

Leading the way individually were LaPorscha Wells and Stephanie Berger. Wells won both the shot put and the weight throw events, while Berger finished first in both the 3,000m and 5,000m runs. Sprinter Ravin Gilbert won the 60m dash and was third in the 200m run.
