* Georgia State kept its winning streak alive against Samford Wednesday afternoon. The Panthers rolled over the Bulldogs with a 7-0 victory. All six GSU players registered singles victories with four of the six ending in straight sets.
* Freshman Arina Taluyenko grinded out a win to remain unbeaten in singles play this season. She defeated Samford’s Ellie Gerlach 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 to improve to 6-0 on the season. Junior Kristin Rehse overpowered Savannah Wood 6-2, 6-1 to get to 4-0 on the year.
