ATLANTA – Georgia State Athletics enjoyed one of its most successful semesters with a combined 3.26 grade point average for the fall 2023 term and a record 252 student-athletes earning academic honors with a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The department GPA of 3.26 ranks among the top five semesters on record. GSU athletics has maintained a GPA (semester or cumulative) of 3.0 or higher for 30 consecutive semesters, dating back to 2008.
The Georgia State women's golf team led the way with a 3.92 semester GPA, followed by the women's tennis program at 3.
