Panthers Claw Back From 22-Point Deficit, Fall Late to FIU

ATLANTA – Georgia State led in the fourth quarter after trailing by as many as 22 points, but ultimately fell 70-63 to FIU Monday afternoon at the GSU Sports Arena.

FIU raced out to a 20-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and led by 22 midway through the second quarter before Georgia State finally found a rhythm on both offense and defense. Over the remaining three minutes of the first half, GSU battled to trail by just 11 at the break.
