ATLANTA – Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter announced the signing of Ball State graduate transfer Jeremiah Davis on Wednesday. The point guard will have one season of eligibility remaining with the Panthers for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
Davis played the last two-plus seasons at Ball State after transferring from Cincinnati where he spent his freshman and part of his sophomore year. The 6-4 guard from Muncie, Ind., averaged 6.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 22 games for the Cardinals last year, averaging 17.6 minutes per contest.
As a junior, he played in the final 20 games of the season, starting 17 of them, mostly at point guard.
