ATLANTA – Georgia State Athletics enjoyed one of its most successful semesters with a combined 3.31 grade point average for the spring 2023 term, the Panthers' second-highest semester GPA on record.
The only higher GPA by the department was the 3.40 posted in spring 2020.
GSU athletics has maintained a GPA (semester or cumulative) of 3.0 or higher for 30 consecutive semesters, dating back to 2008.
The strong spring performance followed a 3.24 GPA last fall, giving the Panthers a 3.27 GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.
A total of 232 student-athletes earned spring academic honors with a semester GPA of 3.
