Panther Pros Open NFL Training Camp This Week

ATLANTA -- As training camps get underway around the National Football League, seven former Georgia State football standouts, including four veterans and three rookies, will be in NFL camps.

The Panthers' longest-tenured NFL veterans are wide receiver Albert Wilson and offensive lineman Ulrick John, both members of the 2010 inaugural team, but both are with new teams in 2018. After four seasons in Kansas City, Wilson signed a lucrative free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins (reports to training camp July 25), while John moves to New England (July 25) after finishing last season at Green Bay.

Placekicker Wil Lutz returns for his third season with the New Orleans Saints (July 25), and wide receiver Robert Davis enters his second year with the Washington Redskins (July 25).
