ATLANTA -- With the season opener now less than two weeks away, several hundred Georgia State fans braved the heat and humidity to cheer on their Panthers in their final scrimmage Saturday at the GSU Practice Complex. Georgia State hosts Ball State on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Georgia Dome.
Head coach Trent Miles was pleased with the effort of his squad after a tough week of practice.
"This has been a really tough week, with a lot of reps in game situations. We've probably played four games over the course of the week, and I thought our kids fought through it," Miles said.
