ATLANTA - Junior Devin Mitchell scored a career-high 38 points against Little Rock Saturday night to be named Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week, powered by the U.S. Marines.
Mitchell led the Panthers to a 2-0 road trip in Arkansas by averaging 24.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. The week included a record-setting performance on Saturday.
In Georgia State’s 81-51 win over Little Rock, Mitchell scored a career-high 38 points while knocking down 10 3-pointers. Mitchell went 10-of-13 from 3-point range and finished 12-of-16 from the floor with six rebounds and four assists.
