ATLANTA - Freshman went 4-0 on the weekend collecting two doubles victories and two singles victories. Georgia State (5-11) fell 4-3 to South Alabama (9-3) on Saturday, but bounced back to defeat Southern Miss (4-7) 4-2 on Sunday.

The Panthers started off strong in doubles as Miglio partnered with Maria Paredes to take a 6-0 victory on court No. 2. On court No. 1, Alba Retortillo and Pragnya Kumar followed up with a 6-4 victory, clinching the doubles point for the Panthers.
Georgia State headed into singles play at a 1-0 advantage.
