NEW ORLEANS -- Lotte Meyberg is this week's Sun Belt Track Athlete of the Week announced by the conference Wednesday.
Meyberg won two events this weekend at the Samford Invite in Birmingham. Meyberg placed first in the 3000m with a time of 9:44.96 which ranks No. 1 in the Sun Belt this season and No. 3 all-time on GSU's performance list. She recorded her second win of the weekend in the 5000m with a time of 17:16.8, also tops in the Sun Belt this season.
Meyberg and the Panthers next compete on Feb. 2 at the Jaguar Invite in Birmingham, Ala.
